I really enjoy infographics for teaching & learning – they are engaging and interesting. Here’s a super one from Onlineschools.org about sugar; you might be shocked after checking it out!
Getting off sugar can be hard, but it’s definitely doable! Choose naturally sweet foods like fruit, a bite of dark chocolate (has added sugar…), cinnamon, and fresh juiced juices. Always read labels to check ingredients for all types of sugars including, cane sugar, fruit juice, fructose, glucose, dextrose, barley malt, beet sugar, corn syrup, and MANY MANY more!
(and don’t think you can get away with “diet” sugars – they are even worse!! Will post about that soon)
