I love juicing and blending, and usually stick to the same ingredients: beets, carrots, celery, kale, ginger, green apple, and whatever other greens are in the refrigerator – but I stumbled across this recipe for a “daily detox green juice” that sounds absolutely fantastic! I might even try substituting 1 green apple for the pears… and maybe add ginger 🙂
Ingredients – Yields 1 quart
1 small bunch dandelion greens
1 cup spinach
½ cup parsley (about 1 small bunch)
½ cup kale (about 10 leaves)
3 celery stalks
2 pears, cored
½ lemon, peeled
½ cucumber
1 small bunch dandelion greens
1 cup spinach
½ cup parsley (about 1 small bunch)
½ cup kale (about 10 leaves)
3 celery stalks
2 pears, cored
½ lemon, peeled
½ cucumber
Method
1. Trim stems off dandelion leaves. Process leafy greens through the juicer first,
followed by the celery, pear, and lemon.

2. Process the cucumber last. Enjoy.
