In the mean time, cut back on refined carbohydrates – you all know what I’m talking about … white bread, cookies, cakes, doughnuts, bagels, pasta, sugary breakfast cereals – and replace with high quality carbohydrates (yams, quinoa, brown rice, millet, buckwheat, soaked and sprouted breads, etc.) and high quality proteins (pastured eggs, pastured meat, wild fish/sustainably farmed, beans and legumes..)
And eat more fat! Look for cultured pastured butter, ghee, unrefined/raw coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, soaked and sprouted nuts and seeds, whole eggs, and of course pastured meats/wild game. Go For it!
